The AUB UNESCO Club

is proud to present its FIRST EVER

Culture Day for AUB's International Students

to play games, interact with various cultures, and eat delicious food,

all with a touch of the surrounding Lebanese culture.

The event will take place

on Saturday, May 10, 2008

in Moltaqa El-Nahrein, Shouf

starting 10am until 6pm.

Buses will be waiting for everyone at 9am at the AUB Medical Gate.

Games will include:

Egg & Spoon Race,

Tug of War,

Potato Sack Race,

Ping-Pong,

Cards,

Backgammon "Tawleh"…

Not only that, but each group of students coming from a different country shouldn't miss the chance of winning valuable prizes by performing anything that is related to their culture, be it a dance, song, or anything else.

Not much preparation is needed… after all we're going there for fun!

Prizes don't stop there!

Each group of students will cook a specialty from their country and will compete to see which is the yummiest.

It can be sweet, salty, or both as long as it's got a taste of your culture!

Again, the winner will receive a valuable prize.

Be sure to not have breakfast, because

Scrumptious knefeh and cheese will be served on the way to Shouf.

As for the day's lunch menu, it will be a typical delicious Lebanese BBQ including appetizers and side-dishes… and, of course, dessert!

(No alcoholic drinks are allowed ONLY because of AUB regulations J)

All that for a price of JUST L.L. 25,000

For reservation please pass by the International Students Office

Don't miss this day to take a break before finals break you.

It'll be a worth while day to unite and enjoy all cultures embraced by the beauty of Lebanon!

Tell all your international friends at AUB!
